Goodachari |
In Goodachari, if Adivi Sesh’s desi-version of a spy , whose routine and level of sophistication is sort of different from that of Bond , doesn’t surprise you, then perhaps the breathtaking action will. If the intensity within the narrative doesn’t surprise you, then perhaps the pulsating background score will. If the size and ambition of this origin story of a spy doesn’t surprise you, then perhaps you're watching a special film.
Goodachari may be a fast-paced, fringe of the seat spy thriller that’s also quite emotional. Look, I’m not trying to exaggerate, but it’s been a short time since I’ve seen a movie that made me want to see my pulse right after watching it.
The film opens with a failed mission, where Satya (Prakash Raj) reports to the top of United States Secret Service division that their entire mission and therefore the Trinetra team are compromised. Soon, the team is disbanded, and Satya makes everyone believe that he and a young boy named Gopi have gave up the ghost in an accident. Twenty years later, the young boy, who’s now named Arjun (Adivi Sesh), wants to serve the country a bit like his father, then he applies for each government job there's , including foreign affairs, RAW, among other things. One fine day, his childhood dream comes true, but soon Arjun realises that nothing is what it looks like . the remainder of the story is about how Arjun navigates this new world crammed with secret agents, covert operations, among other things.
