Audience Review

The gorgeous Madhuri Dixit has turned producer with this Marathi movie which is not released in theaters but is streaming only on Netflix.
Its an entertaining comedy come satire which happens on the independence day 15 August.
The movie is simple but makes you think about various people and how each one's thinking is unique.Independence is interpreted differently by everyone as per his or her thinking and it redifines what is real freedom via satire,comedy and humorous anecdotes which make you giggle!
 On the early morning of Independence Day two main stories run parallel in Gandhi Chawl, 
A boy called Ninad's  hand get stuck in a pit where the residents of the chawl are going to flag off and the other story follows A tale of Raju, A struggling Painter who is unsettled and  who is in love with Jui but her parents want her to get married with a NRI boy.
It reminds you of Pu La's Batatyachi chawl but the screenplay is not upto that standard.
The lousy direction could have been better( You miss Sai Paranjaye here)
But the perfect casting and performances of Rahul Pethe,Mrunmayee Deshpande,Vaibhav Mangale and all kids keep you intrigued
